Tom Bates joined Raymond James in 2020 and is a founding member of the Diversified Industrials Investment Banking team in London. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. Bates worked at Canaccord Genuity in London and KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He has deep sector knowledge and focuses on sustainability themes of energy and resource efficiency, including environmental services, water, lighting and building technologies. Mr. Bates received a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in finance and investment from the University of Leeds.
