Guy Hume joined Raymond James in 2024 as managing director in Private Capital Advisory. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Hume worked in the investment banking division of Nomura where he was head/cohead of the Financial Sponsors Coverage team EMEA, having joined in 2014 following 7 years with Deutsche Bank in London in a similar role. He previously spent nearly 7 years with UBS, originally in the General Industrials group in Melbourne and subsequently in the Financial Sponsors team in London. After completion of both Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce degrees at Monash University Melbourne, Guy worked in Corporate Recovery Services within the Global Corporate Finance division of Arthur Andersen. During that time, he worked on engagements throughout Australia and Asia and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999.
