Senior Vice President, Investments
Greg Ghodsi has a wealth management strategy for his clients. Since 1987, he has combined financial savvy with honesty and integrity to serve his clients. He draws from a background in stocks, bonds, insurance and financial planning to tailor plans for each investor. A proponent of risk management, Greg uses his experience and skill to incorporate sound risk management strategies into his clients' portfolios.
This method has brought Ghodsi many satisfied clients, as well as accolades from the financial services industry. In July 2008, he was selected one of the 20 Rising Stars of Wealth Management from Institutional Investor News. Nominees were submitted by professionals throughout the investment management industry and were vetted and selected by the business publishing staff.
In 2007 Ghodsi moved to Raymond James, to form 360 Wealth Management Group. This group coordinates wealth management procedures with family attorneys and CPAs to attempt to achieve the goals of their clients. The goals can include some, or all, of the following: create and grow wealth, protect and preserve wealth, plan the distribution of wealth during life in the most tax-advantageous way, and plan the distribution of wealth at death in the most tax-advantageous way.
Ghodsi feels that the success of his business has come from the personal attention he and his team give to each client. “As a new advisor, I was influenced by my clientele to keep things pretty conservative. The lessons learned from my clients are very applicable today: diversify, buy quality, don’t stretch for returns and don’t borrow money to finance your lifestyle.”
"I want to develop deep financial relationships with clients, and doing that requires me to constantly monitor their portfolios and review them face-to-face. It's in these meetings that I find out about life changes and discover the real issues affecting my clients," he said. "Once these issues are identified, I can customize the portfolio to fit each client's needs."
