The power of giving

For many of our clients, financially supporting causes they believe in is an integral aspect of wealth management. They want to assist charities in a concrete and meaningful way during their lives, after death or both. They view philanthropy as a means of extending the fruits of their success in ways that benefit others.

Charitable giving also represents an opportunity for clients to both redirect tax dollars and protect assets. By reducing income tax and estate tax burdens, charitable gifts give clients more control over how their wealth is allocated while helping to safeguard assets for the futures.

We offer a wide range of charitable giving vehicles and investment strategies to help you achieve your philanthropic goals. Some of the tools our clients find most useful include:

Charitable Gift Annuity | Enables you to establish a plan for giving while at the same time providing a lifetime of reliable annuity payments to you and/or your heirs.*

The Charitable Partners Program | Allows you to meet your future investment needs while contributing to the growth and well-being of a charitable or non-profit organization.

Charity Advised Account | Provides a long-term income stream and an untouchable resource that will not be subject to creditor claims.

Donor Advised Fund | Provides both immediate and future tax benefits while giving you and your family a role in directing the disbursement of your contributions.

Pooled Income Fund (Also known as “life income” fund) | Creates both tax benefits for you and a continued stream of investment income for life.

*Donors should be aware that the guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the charity and in the event that a charity fails, payments can be terminated. Donors would be well advised to examine the financial health of a charity before entering into this type of arrangement.
