Using 27 years of investment and financial planning experience, Joe and his team work diligently to help clients find a comfortable balance between risk and return potential of their portfolio. The goal is to take the worry out of investing for our clients.
Our background includes an honors degree from the University of Tennessee in finance and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP) certification awarded in 1989. Having worked with clients since the earlier 1980s, we now serve multiple generations of family members. In addition to our commitment to our client’s financial goals, we make the abstract world of investing simpler and more easily understood. Over the years of being with Raymond James we have gained recognition for outstanding client service as a member of the firm’s elite President’s Club. We appreciate Raymond James’ client-centered corporate culture and the freedom it affords us to do only what is best for clients.
In addition to working with clients, Joe serves as an industry arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA formally the NASD) and a member former of the board of directors for the Greater Atlanta Federal Catholic Credit Union, Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and School and neighborhood association boards. He is a baseball coach at Murphy Candler Little League and a leader on his son's Cub Scout Pack. He is available to speak at your organization.
Joe is originally from Auburn, New York, and now resides in Atlanta with his wife, Jenny, their daughters, Abigail and Maria, and their son Joseph. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time camping with his family and working in his wood shop.
Raymond James is one of the largest independent financial services firms in the United States. Since its beginning in 1962, it has always been a different kind of company – embracing long-term planning and methodical decision-making while staying uncompromisingly client focused. When other firms were simply buying and selling stocks or mutual funds, Raymond James focused on financial planning to help individuals reach their goals. It was the first firm to pioneer that concept – and today it supports its advisors with access to a full range of comprehensive resources, helping them to do the same.
- More than 5,400 financial advisors
- 2 million client accounts
- 2,400 locations (United States, Canada and abroad)
- $268 billion in client assets
- $35 billion managed by its subsidiary asset managers
Raymond James Financial was recently named the best full-service broker in the 2011 SmartMoney annual broker survey for the third time in four years – ranking above Edward Jones, Wells Fargo, UBS, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
