We are located at the intersection of Rt. 3 and Rt. 1 in the Centre Court building.
Doug joined Raymond James & Associates in October 2006 in the Fredericksburg, Virginia office after 17 years in the business with two regional firms that were subsequently merged into larger companies. Aware that clients' best interests are served when working for an employee owned, publicly traded company, Doug researched his many options and found Raymond James & Associates to be the best fit both for his clients and himself. Doug takes a diversified approach to managing his practice and makes equal use of separately managed accounts and a more traditional approach with individual equities, fixed income products, variable annuities and mutual funds.
Born in Colonial Beach, Virginia, Doug is a graduate of the University of Maryland and as an avid alumnus has served on the Board of the Terrapin Club which is the scholarship arm of the athletic program at Maryland. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Area Museum.
Doug and his wife, Randee, have been married for 26 years and have two boys, Joshua (a graduate of the College of Charleston) and Andrew (a junior at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill). Doug's pleasures include hunting and fishing with his sons. He and Randee enjoy traveling and anything that involves their boys.

Kelly joined Raymond James & Associates in October 2007. She has been in the financial service industry for six years working for a prominent CPA firm in the area. Kelly successfully completed her Series 7 studies and is a registered sales assistant. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in this segment of the industry.
Kelly's current responsibilities in the office include processing and follow-up on all client documentation. Likewise, she researches client and security information through our back office to ensure that all paperwork is current with the firm and industry requirements. Kelly prepares reviews for client accounts on a quarterly basis. She is readily available to answer new and prospective client inquiries and direct them accordingly.
Kelly and her husband, James, reside in Colonial Beach, Virginia. They have two young daughters, Katelyn and Sarah. Katelyn is currently in the 4th grade and Sarah is in preschool.
Joshua is a graduate of the College of Charleston. Upon graduation Joshua made the decision to return to his hometown of Fredericksburg, VA and join his father at Cooper Financial Group of Raymond James & Associates in September 2010. Joshua looks forward to working with Doug to continue the level of personal service that his clients are accustomed to. He seeks to develop long lasting relationships with clients and help them in achieving both their short term and long term financial goals.
Joshua is a lifelong resident of the Fredericksburg area and is a graduate of Fredericksburg Academy. In his free time he enjoys reading, fishing, and is an avid golf and tennis player. Joshua is a member of the College of Charleston Cougar Club and 1770 Society. Within the community, he is involved with the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region as well as the Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence and currently serves as the Alumni Annual Fund Chair for 2011-2012 at Fredericksburg Academy.
