The Sytsma Group has been a member of the FBA since 2009.

Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women's vision is to provide women of West Michigan the education and resources that will allow them to strive towards their dream of achieving self-fulfillment and positive economic change.
Tami currently serves as Chairperson of the Board. She has been a volunteer with GROW since 2005.
Inforum seeks to strengthen Michigan’s business environment by creating opportunities for women to lead and succeed. Inforum provides opportunities for businesswomen to forge alliances, discuss vital civic and business issues and make connections that help accelerate careers.
Christine joined Inforum in January 2011. She co-chairs Lend A Hand (volunteer-focused group) and Lit Lovers' Forum Affinity Groups.
Kiwanis
Kiwanis is a global organization dedicated to strengthening communities and developing the future of youth. Their motto is to "change the world one child and one community at a time." Currently there are 8,000 clubs worldwide and 184 of those clubs are located in Michigan.
Tom has been a member since 2011.

Leadership Grand Rapids (LGR) is a nine-month community leadership program from the Center for Community Leadership. This program is committed to enhancing and connecting leaders from business, non-profits and government. For over 20 years, the program has empowered participants with a comprehensive understanding of our community's challenges and opportunities, providing a broader knowledge of the community and participants role as community trustees.
Tami is a graduate of the LGR class of 2009, and Tom is a graduate of the 2010 class.

Local First is the premier organization advocating for local business ownership. Founded in 2003, it has grown into a nationally recognized organization representing nearly 600 locally owned businesses in West Michigan.
The Sytsma Group has been a member of Local First since 2006.
