Julie Covington is a Financial Advisor and Wealth Management Specialist with Raymond James & Associates serving clients in Florida and throughout the US. In her role as planner and advisor, Julie works closely with clients to outline personal values and goals, recommend appropriate investment strategies, and implement a customized plan of action to specifically address each client’s unique situation.
Julie transitioned from her career as a senior executive in information technology in 2002 by joining Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor. Focusing on comprehensive planning, Julie earned the designation of Financial Planning Specialist, leveraging her more than 12 years experience solving complex business, operational and technology issues to help successful individuals and families overcome challenges to achieving the life and legacy they envision.
Prior to joining Smith Barney, Julie advanced to the youngest Vice President in company history for MPS Group. As VP of Product Management, she led software development, marketing, sales and operations to grow the Beeline.com business unit from concept to $25 million in 3 years. Consulting with clients such as Merrill Lynch, CSX, JP Morgan Chase, and Shell Oil, she delivered a strong business acumen and specialization in process improvement to streamline clients’ business practices and significantly reduce costs.
Julie also serves as a leader in her community as Trustee for Florida’s largest child serving agency, daniel Memorial, Inc., Chairperson of the 2010 daniel Guiding Hearts Gala, member of the 2010 daniel Charity Golf Tournament Committee, Advisor to Womenade, and member of the Membership and Community Involvement committees for the Professional Women’s Council of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
Julie has lived in Jacksonville, FL for over 13 years after relocating from her hometown in Columbus, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Communications/Business and Masters of Business Administration.
Grace Katich joined Raymond James & Associates, Inc. in 2007 as a Client Service Associate where she assists Financial Advisors with maintaining and enhancing client relationships by providing efficient, high quality service to prospective and existing clients. With over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry, Grace began her career with Prudential Securities in 2001 as an assistant to the Regional Manager and an operations specialist.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Grace worked in the technology and non-profit sectors, fulfilling multiple roles as Executive Director and Editor for the Association of Cabling Professionals and as Executive Assistant for Communication Planning Corporation where she managed marketing and membership campaigns, streamlined membership tracking and billing, and increased membership services and involvement.
Raised in a tradition of service to one’s community, Grace also regularly donates her time and skills to various projects and charitable organizations including Girls Scouts of Gateway Council, Boy Scouts of America, and as a member of the daniel Guiding Hearts Gala planning committee.
Grace grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and holds an Associate of Arts in Communications from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
