With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Pete advises clients on a broad range of retirement planning strategies. As a Certified Financial Planner™ in Sherman, Texas, he focuses on listening to each client because he believes everyone’s needs and financial goals for the future are unique.
Pete is dedicated to assisting his clients in meeting their financial needs. He uses a hands-on approach when working with clients, meeting with each of them on a regular basis to ensure that their investments remain suitable for their objectives throughout changing personal and market conditions.
Before joining Raymond James as a Financial Advisor Pete worked at A.G. Edwards & Sons for six years, where he served a Financial Consultant. Prior to that he owned his own CPA practice for fourteen years. He currently holds Series 7, 63, and Insurance licenses, and is a Certified Financial Planner™
Pete graduated from East Texas State University in 1972, with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and management. He additionally took accounting courses at the University of Texas in Dallas. He completed his CFP® certification in 2002. A firm believer in continuing education, Pete enhances his experience by attending seminars, conferences, and continuing education courses for his licenses and certifications.
Pete is quite involved in his community. He has served on the Wilson N. Jones Medical Center Board of Directors and presently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the WNJ Charitable Foundation. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the Sherman Chamber of Commerce, and is a member and a Past President of the Grayson County Rotary Club.
He is a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Sherman, Texas. He is also a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Viet Nam era.
Originally from Denison, Texas, Pete currently resides in Sherman. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Margaret, who is a retired kindergarten teacher, and their two grandchildren. When he is away from the office, he enjoys playing golf with his family and friends.

Whether you need assistance implementing a small business retirement plan, protecting family income with insurance or just need financial jargon explained, Eric will use his knowledge and resources to put you–and your needs–first.
Before joining Raymond James as a Financial Advisor, Eric worked at Franklin Templeton Investments for four years, where he served as a Business Retirement Plan Specialist. Additionally, he currently holds a Series 7, 63 and 65 securities license as well as his Life and Health Insurance license.
Eric takes pride in community involvement. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of United Way of Grayson County. He is also a member of Sherman Kiwanis Club, and the North Texas Young Professionals organizations.
Eric has returned to Sherman, TX where he grew up after spending the last ten years away, living in both Dallas, TX and St. Petersburg, FL. When he is not working with clients, Eric enjoys spending time outdoors and has a passion for hunting and fishing.
Vickie Reed has been a client service associate for more than 6 years at Kloppers Investment Group. She's a great asset to the team, and can be counted on to get the job done whatever it may be. All of our clients enjoy working with Vickie as her upbeat personality speaks for itself.
Originally from Whitesboro, TX, Vickie currently resides in Sherman, TX. She enjoys spending time with her husband Billy who is a pastor at Higher Ground Baptist Church. Vickie has 3 children (Michael, Corey, and Kaci) and 5 grandchildren. When Vickie is not helping clients she enjoys working on numerous ministry programs at their church.
