Edward Moffitt, CFP®, takes a leadership role in a number of civic and charitable organizations in the community. Ed is a supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  He is on the board of directors for the Greg Rice Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to Parkinson's Disease research based in Dover, MA. He is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council where he has served on its membership committee, and is actively involved with the Wellesley Chamber of Commerce. Ed also volunteers his time coaching little league baseball.

In addition to his extensive non-profit work, Ed has been actively involved with supporting his alma maters, Worcester Academy, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Boston College. Ed chaired his most recent WPI reunion in 2009, and has been a member of Worcester Academy's Board of Visitors for the last several years.

Ed is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, and is a guest lecturer at Boston College's Carroll Graduate School of Business where he speaks on personal financial planning and industry trends.
