Defined Asset Portfolios
A major problem investors face when investing in sectors is how to achieve diversification without sacrificing control of their portfolio. Investing in mutual funds provides diversification, but you give up control. Investing in individual stocks gives you control, but you lack diversification.
Defined Asset Portfolios are vehicles that provides both greater diversification than stocks and more control than mutual funds.
