In Our CommunityWe currently support and are involved in: The Haven for Children - Provides a loving an nurturing home for abused, neglected and abandoned children. We take part in providing meals, birthday gifts and every day items that the children need such as sunscreen, toilette paper, toothpaste. We usually bring dinner to one of the homes once a month on average. The Havenly Affair 2009 was held on Saturday October 3rd and was a wonderful event! Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place provided an outstanding venue and dinner and the Melbourne Swingtime Jazz Band played so that all could dance well into the night. Thank you to all who attended, as 100% of the funds raised go directly to the Haven homes. Big Brothers / Big Sisters - Men Cooking From the Heart, March 2009 - What a worthy event! Get to know some really outstanding local talent! Looking forward to 2010's event! Junior Achievement - Victoria will be volunteering with JA this year to give back to our youth. She will be teaching a 4th grade class about "Our Region". Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation United Way |
