Investment Banking

Raymond James maintains a full-service Investment Banking group that is national in scope, providing public and private offerings of equity and debt, as well as merger and acquisition services. Our team of more than 650 capital markets professionals draws on extensive industry knowledge and transactions expertise to deliver a full array of transactional services, enhanced by strategic advice and planning for every stage of a company’s life cycle.

Public Offerings, Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructurings

During the past five years, Raymond James has participated in raising more than $140 billion in growth capital for its corporate clients and has completed nearly 300 advisory, restructuring and private placement assignments, including 150 mergers and acquisitions valued at well over $20 billion. Last year alone, Raymond James advised on more than 40 buy-and-sell-side transactions with an aggregate value of more than $5 billion.

The integrated structure of our Capital Markets area allows our Equity Research and Investment Banking teams to coordinate sales efforts across the firm as they work to create demand for your clients’ shares. The Mergers and Acquisitions group can help you navigate the intricacies of transacting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and leveraged buyouts – including buy- and sell-side representation, advisory services, valuations, financial restructurings for distressed companies and takeover defenses. And the professionals in our Restructuring group offer experience in all major industries, including industrial services, healthcare, energy, financial services, consumer, automotive, technology and telecommunications, as well as experience representing companies both inside and outside of Chapter 11, creditors and their committees, and equity investors and their committees.
