Meet Our Team
Peter serves as the group’s Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Partner. A thoughtful problem solver, Peter enjoys helping successful individuals, not-for-profit corporations and endowments pursue and achieve their financial goals through a well-reasoned course of action.
His experience as a professional in the financial services industry spans nearly 40 years.
Before joining Morgan Keegan, which became part of Raymond James in 2012, he served as Managing Director for Smith Barney and Senior Vice President for Drexel Burnham Lambert. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University School of Business, where he served as a Trustee, and attended the New York Institute of Finance.
Despite his busy calendar as a nationally respected advisor and consultant, Peter still finds the time to serve his community in many capacities. He was among the “Twelve Good Men” recognized by Ronald McDonald House Charities for community involvement, civic service and commitment to South Florida charities. He serves on the board of the United Way, as Chair of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Miami and is a past president and trustee of Temple Israel. He also chairs the pension committee of the Public Health Trust, a $600,000,000 fund.
He was a founder and first chairman of the Miami Bond Club, chairman of the board of Miami Children’s Hospital, chairman of the board of Ransom Everglades School and president and chairman of the Mental Health Association of Dade County.
A native of Miami, Peter lives in Coconut Grove with his wife, Kerrin. They have four children and four granddaughters. In his free time, he enjoys running and golfing and Molly, his golden doodle.
Michael joined Morgan Keegan in 2005, now Raymond James, and shortly after, joined the Bermont Advisory Group. As a partner, Portfolio Manager and Accredited Asset Management Specialist, Michael works with Peter in developing and executing the overarching portfolio management theses as well as company specific investment ideas.
Michael has a bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Florida. Having studied in both Italy and France, his academic background combined with his global perspective result in a unique understanding of the interconnectivity of worldwide commerce.
Michael is committed to effecting positive change in the local community. He currently serves as trustee at HistoryMiami Museum and on the United Way Young Leaders executive committee. He was most recently appointed to the Coral Gables Pension Advisory Board, a $360,000,000 fund. He is also a former board member, past vice president and treasurer of JCI Coconut Grove.
One of his ongoing projects is to organizing a yearly toy drive to bring toys and supplies to some of the neediest classrooms in Miami-Dade County.
Michael was born and raised in South Florida. Today, he lives in Coral Gables with his wife Susana and his sons Benjamin & Tobias. In his free time, Michael enjoys golf and volunteering.

Mariana plays an integral role in providing superior service to clients, working closely with our team to communicate timely information and address all needs and requests. She takes particular pride whenever clients recommend us to their friends.
She joined Morgan Keegan in 2008, now Raymond James, and became a member of the team in 2012. Her career in the financial services industry has spanned nearly 20 years. She worked as a senior registered sales associate at PaineWebber (UBS), as a registered sales assistant for First Equity Miami and as a sales assistant for Lehman Brothers.
She holds Series 7 and 63 licenses and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business administration from Florida International University.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mariana lives in Miami with her husband, Walter, and two children, Ivan and Nicholas. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, entertaining and traveling.

A tenacious problem solver, Anna addresses special client requests and administrative needs. Anna also supports the business operations of the team and plays a key role in preparing quarterly investment reports.
With over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Anna has worked as a registered representative for JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch and Northern Trust Securities.
Anna joined the team in 2013 and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses. Originally from New York City, Anna studied economics and international business at Iona College. Anna has lived in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese.
When not working, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Gessi, and two children, John Luca and Nicholas. Anna’s interests include travel, study, fashion and competitive sports.
