Dan Kelly joined Raymond James & Associates more than two decades ago at the urging of a friend - Tom James, the firm's chairman and CEO. And Dan's enthusiasm for his practice and devotion to his clients has not lagged a day since. He focuses his extensive investment knowledge and considerable industry experience on guiding clients through all facets of financial planning. He holds a wealth management specialist (WMS) designation and is particularly adept at designing broad wealth management solutions that look to the future by incorporating retirement concerns and legacy goals.
Associate Vice President, InvestmentsDan is originally from the Chicago suburb of Franklin Park. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Having played basketball for the college, he was the career leading scorer at the time of his graduation and was selected as honorable mention All American recipient.
During the 30-plus years Dan has lived in the Tampa Bay area, he has dedicated himself to community involvement, having served numerous local organizations and nonprofit groups. Dan and his wife, Debbie, recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and have a son, Sean, who is also a partner in the practice.
