A very active member of the St. Petersburg community, Ross currently sits on the public policy committee of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed by Mayor Rick Baker and the St. Petersburg City Council to the Consolidated Plan Review Committee, is a member of the Pinellas County Homeless Leadership Network, President's Associates of Eckerd College, Advisory Council of St. Petersburg Junior League, member of the First Team of the Children's Dream Fund and spent six years as president of the Florida Tourette Syndrome Association. He has also worked with the Mainsail Art Festival, Temple Beth-EL, the Rotary Club of Downtown St. Petersburg, and served a three-term presidency with the Pinellas County School Advisory Council.
Ross lives in downtown St. Petersburg. His oldest daughter lives in St. Petersburg and is currently a student at St. Pete College, where she is preparing for nursing school. His second daughter is a student at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg campus where she is living in the new dorms and studying Criminal Psychology. His son is currently in high school. Ross enjoys the arts, golf and downtown living.
