With more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Doug possesses the knowledge and expertise to simplify his clients' most important investment decisions. An honest, dedicated professional, his mission is to help his clients obtain and preserve wealth through prudent investment management and proper asset allocation. Doug specializes in asset allocation strategies, wealth preservation and retirement plan consulting.

A Bellevue, Ohio, native, Doug earned his bachelor's degree from Ashland University in 1968. He started his investment career with Merrill Lynch in 1974, becoming a vice president with the firm in 1980. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2003, Doug also held senior vice president positions with Advest, Inc., and Wachovia Securities. As an advisor with Raymond James, Doug has obtained certification as a retirement plan consultant through the Raymond James Institute of Finance, as well as completed special trust classes. Doug is part of the Raymond James Managed Investment Program and is a member of the Leaders Club.

Doug has taught numerous investment courses at Ashland University and Bowling Green University, as well as adult education classes throughout the Bellevue area. Having served on several community boards, Doug was honored with the Bellevue Outstanding Citizen Award in 1981, was named Outstanding District Exchangite by the Exchange Club in 2001 and received the Distinguished Service Award from Ashland University in 2003. He is a board member of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. Doug has served as National President of the Ashland University Alumni Association, is chairman of the Seybert United Methodist Church Finance Committee and is a Supply Pastor for Vickery United Methodist Church.

Doug is an avid fisherman and has fished many of the best fishing spots throughout the United States and Canada. Doug and his wife of forty years are the parents of two grown children and enjoy traveling and spoiling their two grandchildren.

Whether you are in the wealth accumulation phase of your career or nearing retirement, James will work with you to implement a strategy that fits your goals. He can assist in 401(k) asset allocation or rolling over your qualified plan from a previous employer into the appropriate investment vehicle. James and the group will also help to build your retirement plan by evaluating other assets such as defined pension benefits or stock options.

In addition to assisting you with your individual financial planning needs, the group can develop strategies to handle many of your business challenges as well. They provide solutions for small business owners to help guide you through business succession planning. The group is experienced in designing and implementing company retirement plans.

Born and raised in Ohio, James graduated from the University of Toledo in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. In 2006, he relocated back to northern Ohio with his wife and four children, joining The Gildenmeister Wealth Management Group. James is currently on the Board of Directors for the Bellevue Rotary Club, a trustee with the Immaculate Conception School Endowment Board, on The Willows Community Advisory Board, and a member of the Bellevue Eagles Aerie #490.

Sandra Tomaszycki

Sandy possesses more than sixteen years of administrative and executive assistance. She began her career with Smith Barney in 1994 and later joined Wachovia Securities in 1998 as a sales assistant to Doug Gildenmeister. In 2003, she and Doug joined Raymond James, opening a satellite office in Bellevue. In serving our clients, Sandy draws from extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, with focus on operations management. She is responsible for overseeing daily operations for The Gildenmeister Wealth Management Group and making sure the office runs smoothly. She also handles important account requests in order to make clients' interactions with the group as pleasant as possible.

Sandy resides in Elyria with her husband and two children. Sandy volunteers in her community and is involved with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Sandy enjoys spending time with her family and taking long walks with her dog.
