Through the past twelve years, CHAPEL & COLLINS has had the gratification of working with interesting, intelligent and talented people. In the Client Spotlight we will highlight an individual or a business that CHAPEL & COLLINS is proud to be associated with. It is with great pleasure that we highlight, and introduce a brief summary of Donn and Linda Hopkins.

Linda & Donn Hopkins have been watching Fort Collins grow since the 60’s and 70’s, respectively. You might even say they have helped Fort Collins grow into the beautiful, thriving town that it is today. Together, they have supported the community in many different ways.
Donn works at Agilent Technologies, and enjoys problem solving complex safety and security issues, and Linda is a Realtor for the Group, Inc. She loves what she does because it gives her an opportunity to help people and the community.
They believe that a measure of a person’s success can be seen through their pursuit of a meaningful career where they can make a difference in the community. Outside of work, they feel passionate about volunteering for community programs and organizations, including United Way, Quota Club, Chamber of Commerce, Community Advisory Board for Wells Fargo, Food Bank Volunteer Board and National MS Society, among others.
For Donn & Linda, it’s not all work and no play; they enjoy Fort Collins and its people through the amazing cultural diversity, with CSU and social events as well as the beautiful outdoors. Their love for the community and their family shines through in everything they do.
Growing up, Linda learned the value of generosity and giving through her early career endeavors with a paper route, waitressing and being a girl scout. Donn received encouragement to pursue life adventures and careers through his childhood experiences with mowing lawns, construction and ranch work. Other lessons they have learned along the way have been the importance of diversity of investments, the value of saving every month and the pricelessness of investing in their children’s education.
Their next adventure is going to take them to the Grand Canyon for a rafting trip. They also hope to travel to Ireland, Scotland and Victoria, British Columbia.
