Craig Pluta
Craig Pluta, CFP®, CRPC®

Craig's approach to financial planning is methodical and process-driven, but most important, it is also client-focused. To be able to truly help his clients achieve their goals, he first spends time getting to know each one of them as a person. Second, he works with them to develop a clear vision of where they want to go, and finally, he tailors and executes a plan designed to help them reach their financial destination. Once the original financial goals are met the work is not finished. That's when the second phase of planning, often ignored by other planners, comes into play. The transfer of wealth to the next generation holds both promise and landmines. By getting to know his clients' legacy desires, Craig crafts plans designed to help minimize taxes, maximize the wealth transfer and potentially create lasting legacies.

By anticipating his clients' needs and providing a warm, welcoming environment, Craig strives to ensure that his clients' expectations are exceeded, not merely met, and that their experiences are extraordinary, not just good.

Craig joined the financial services field motivated by a genuine desire to help people navigate the complex world of investing, maximize their portfolios and achieve their goals using resources that were once available only to institutions. Previously, he has been a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, a vice president of the private client group at Cleary Gull, and a first vice president and financial advisor with B.C. Ziegler & Co. In 2006, Craig joined Raymond James, attracted by the firm's openness to new ideas and commitment to allowing its advisors to conduct business in a way that places the well-being of their clients first. That was the foundation that allowed for the creation of Alliance Wealth Management Milwaukee, an independent registered investment advisory firm.

A 1983 graduate of Marquette University, Craig also attended the College of Financial Planning, going on to earn both the Certified Financial Planner™ certification and the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation. Craig has had experience in several other industries including the medical research field, and retail sourcing where he found himself working in Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan. All of these experiences come together to provide a distinct perspective on how our global economic system operates. Originally hailing from Milwaukee, Craig now resides in Delafield, Wisconsin, with his wife, Judy, and has three grown daughters, Megan, Carrie and Kelli.

In his free time, Craig enjoys biking, skiing, woodworking, photography and riding his motorcycles, but most of all spending time with his family and helping each of his girls achieve their dreams and goals.
