Why Raymond James Career Opportunities Student Opportunities Diversity

OPTIONS Program

Raymond James Financial offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated, high-achieving bachelor-level and advanced degree graduates to gain a broad perspective on the financial services industry.

Selected individuals will participate in three four-month rotations through a range of Raymond James departments. The OPTIONS Program includes work experience in different business areas of the firm, supplemented by meetings, roundtable discussions and special events with senior management of the firm, including Chairman and CEO Tom James. These development opportunities may provide the potential for full-time employment at the end of the program year.

OPTIONS participants attend courses at Raymond James University and are encouraged to complete Series 7 registration as part of the program. All positions are at the international headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Applicants should have a genuine interest in the financial services industry, demonstrated achievement and self-direction. In addition to an application, the selection process for this program requires (at later stages) letters of reference, completion of selected essay questions, pre-employment testing and in-person panel interviews with participating departments.

We will resume accepting applications for the 2009-2010 Program year in January 2009. Please check back to apply during that time.

Please note the Program commences early June 2009.

Raymond James Financial reserves the right to alter participants as business needs may direct. Participants are not guaranteed full-time positions upon completion of their rotations - rather, they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities to individual departments and managers who may consider them for full-time hire.
