Raymond James Sponsors 2011 Big Brothers Big Sisters Big & Little Picnic

In keeping with Raymond James' time-honored tradition of giving back to the communities in which our financial advisors live and work, our Chicagoland offices have assumed the role of presenting sponsor for the 2011 Big & Little Picnic of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago (bbbschgo.org).

The picnic, held August 13 in Lincoln Park and August 28 in Deerpath Park honored hundreds of mentor-mentee matchups. These relationships between children and professionals are designed to effect positive, measurable and sustainable changes in the lives of participating children, their families and their communities. In addition to staffing activity stations offering everything from face painting to lawn games and arts and crafts know-how, our Chicagoland volunteers provided a catered barbecue lunch for all participants, including Big Brothers Big Sisters staff and members of the organization's board of directors.

Raymond James is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago on many levels. We believe first and foremost that such involvement helps fulfill important community needs and, secondarily, enhances our efforts to expand our presence in the Chicago area.
