For Jim, there’s great reward in helping people invest and manage their hard-earned money. That’s why in 1993, after a decade of working for IBM as a Financial Analyst and a Marketing Representative, he decided to put his degree in finance and accounting to work doing just that. Since then Jim has enjoyed working with his clients and the personal satisfaction of having helped make a difference in their lives.
Originally from Washington, D.C., Jim attended Virginia Tech, where he received a degree in finance and accounting. Jim and his wife, Carla, have seven children and reside in Upper St. Clair where they attend St. Louise de Marillac Church.
Outside the office, Jim enjoys participating in sports and staying in shape. Which means when he’s not in the office, you’ll find him running, playing golf and skiing during the winter months. In an effort to help pass along his knowledge and love of sports to future generations, Jim has also coached youth baseball, softball, basketball and wrestling. When not participating in outdoor activities, Jim enjoys reading.
