After a decade of working at the University of Pittsburgh as a compliance director and major gift officer, he decided to put his degree in economics to work while merging his passion for helping others reach their financial goals. While growing up, Zac had a deep interest in finance and learning about the stock market at a young age, when his grandfather first introduced him to stocks and mutual funds. Zac was also inspired through his personal experience with his family's financial advisor.
Dr. Saunders attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in both economics and psychology. He also holds a masters and doctorate degree in education from Pitt. Professionally, he holds Series 7 and 66 securities registrations. Zac was a recipient of the George I. Carson graduate fellowship while at Pitt, and served as a football student manager for Pitt Football during his undergraduate days.
Zac and his wife, Lauren, reside in Monaca, PA where they attend St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Zac is active in the community and participates in several local organizations. Zac is a member of the Pitt Varsity Letter Club and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Community College of Beaver County. He enjoys golfing, reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
