David Solomon

David Solomon has been a consumer investment banker for 30 years, with deep expertise in e-commerce and multichannel retail, consumer services and franchising, and manufacturers of consumer products. Mr. Solomon’s career has spanned the consumer sector, ranging from apparel, enthusiast brands, personal care and auto aftermarket. He excels at achieving maximum valuations in auction sales as well as structured equity raises.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2021, Mr. Solomon served as managing director at Financo, and previously as CEO of Lazard Middle Market where he tripled the firm’s overall revenues and established teams in London, Paris, Milan and Frankfurt. Mr. Solomon began his M&A career at Goldsmith Agio Helms, helping grow the firm to 130 professionals and building its e-commerce and DTC practice. Early in his career, Mr. Solomon was a real estate developer of shopping centers. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Architecture from Yale University, and he received an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Solomon is an avid outdoorsman and fly angler. He serves on the board of American Rivers, the nation’s leading river and water conservation organization.
