Raymond James was engaged by the company to assist in evaluating alternatives including opportunities to attract institutional investors that would bring a variety of strategic benefits. Raymond James assisted in recommending a strategy, preparing materials describing the business, sourcing interested parties, evaluating proposals and negotiating transaction terms. CTC ultimately decided to execute a definitive agreement providing for a sale of a non-controlling minority equity interest to Merrill Lynch for a cash investment. |
