Daniel Coughlin

Mr. Coughlin joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett and is currently the co-head of the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. Coughlin was the chairman, president, and CEO of Howe Barnes, a firm he joined in 1993. In all, Coughlin has more than 25 years in investment banking, equity research, bank supervision and regulation, and commercial and community banking with such firms and agencies as the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, American National Bank, Chicago, IL and the McHenry State Bank, McHenry, IL. Coughlin graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and received an MBA from DePaul University.

Patrick T. DeLacey

Mr. DeLacey joined Raymond James in 1999 and is currently co-head of the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. Prior to joining Raymond James, he served as head of the U.S. Financial Institutions practice at ABN AMRO Inc. In all, DeLacey has more than 23 years’ experience in the investment banking and corporate finance industry, including positions with Kemper Securities, CIT Financial and Ernst & Whinney. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA degree in finance, with honors, from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.

Michael H. Jones

Mr. Jones joined Raymond James in 2000 as a member of the Financial Institutions Group. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for seven years in the investment banking department of ABN AMRO Inc., where he also worked with financial services companies. Prior to that, Jones spent six years in the debt markets division at Merrill Lynch & Co. in their New York and Chicago offices. While at Merrill Lynch, he originated debt, asset-backed and selected equity securities for finance companies, banks, thrifts, industrial corporations and utilities. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Cornell University and holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jack MacDonald
Managing Director

Jack MacDonald joined Raymond James in 2008 from XPL Advisors LLC, an asset management M&A advisory boutique, where he was a principal and co-founder. Prior to co-founding XPL in 2002, Mr. MacDonald was a managing director and co-head of asset management investment banking at Putnam Lovell, where he also founded and served as co-head of the capital markets fixed income group. Prior to that, he was a vice president in the investment industries group of Citicorp Securities, Inc. Mr. MacDonald holds a master’s of business administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s of business administration degree with a focus in accounting from St. Norbert College.

Michael T. Mayes

Mr. Mayes, who joined Raymond James in 2006, has more than 25 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Raymond James, he served as a senior managing director of Advest, Inc. He has extensive experience in public offerings of equity and equity-linked securities, as well as the initiation, structuring and negotiation of merger and acquisition transactions. Mayes holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Montclair State University.

David Papritz

Mr. Papritz joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, joining the firm in 2007 after working for LaSalle Bank Corporation for almost 20 years. Papritz played an influential role in the company's growth having served as CFO of the Chicago based community banking group and also leading the organization's acquisition program during the 1990's that resulted in the bank growing from just over $3 billion in assets in 1990 to over $100 billion in 2000. Papritz graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and English and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Paul Reese

Mr. Reese joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett. Prior to joining Howe Barnes in 2007, Reese was a Managing Director of Professional Bank Services. In his more than 15 years of investment banking experience, Reese has represented more than 80 financial institutions in completed merger & acquisition transactions. Reese received his Bachelor of Science in finance from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and he is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

William Wagner

Mr. Wagner joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett. Prior to joining Howe Barnes in 2005, Wagner co-founded the Financial Institutions Group at Triangle Capital Partners. Prior to joining Triangle Capital Partners in 2002, Wagner was a Senior Vice President at Trident Securities. He served as a Vice President and corporate tax manager of First Citizens Bank, Raleigh, NC prior to joining Trident. He began his career as a tax consultant at Deloitte & Touche in Columbus, OH. Wagner holds a BS degree from Miami University and an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Wagner is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Michael J. Walker

Mr. Walker joined Raymond James in 2000 as a member of the Financial Institutions Group. Prior to joining Raymond James, he worked in the Chicago office of McDonald Investments, Inc., where he was a managing director and a member of its President’s Council. Before joining McDonald in 1997, Walker was employed by ABN AMRO Inc. and Merrill Lynch in their investment banking offices in Chicago. He attended the University of Port Elizabeth, Amherst College and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Christopher W. Choate

Mr. Choate joined Raymond James in December 2004 from Ryan Beck & Company, where he worked as a managing director in its financial institutions group. Prior to joining Ryan Beck in 2002, he worked in Scott & Stringfellow’s Financial Institutions Group for 10 years. Choate is involved in new business development, relationship management and investment banking transaction execution. His expertise in the financial institutions arena includes mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, strategic planning and other financial advisory services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Aaron C. DiRusso

Mr. DiRusso joined Raymond James in 2006, bringing 10 years of experience within the financial services industry sector. He primarily focuses on transaction execution and relationship management, and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, strategic advisory, and private placements. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. DiRusso worked in the financial institutions group at Advest, Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College.

Dietrich Moor

Mr. Moor joined Raymond James in January 2012 from the Wells Fargo Financial Institutions Group where he was active in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements in the asset management, closed-end fund, financial exchange and broker dealer sectors. In all, Mr. Moor has more than ten years’ experience in the investment banking and corporate finance industry, including positions with Credit Suisse and Lazard. Before receiving his M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 2001, Mr. Moor was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.

Gig Palmer

Mr. Palmer joined Raymond James in May 2007 from Deutsche Bank, where he worked with the Financial Institutions Group providing capital raising, structuring and merger and acquisition advisory services. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he worked with financial institutions groups at both KeyBanc Capital Markets and Advest, Inc., always with a focus on the property/casualty and life and health sectors. He received his MBA from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree from the University of the South.

Sanjay Patel

Mr. Patel joined Raymond James in 2000. Within the firm’s Financial Institutions Group, he is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions and private and public financings for depository institutions. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Patel worked in the financial services group at McDonald Investments, Inc. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in African studies.

Mark E. Peterson

Mr. Peterson joined the Raymond James Financial Institutions Group in 1999 and has been active in public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory assignments. Prior to joining Raymond James, he worked for five years in ABN AMRO Inc.’s corporate finance group. He is a graduate of Colorado College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Weber joined Howe Barnes in 2008 after 12 years at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, where he led and participated in numerous transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital offerings and general advisory assignments for depository institutions on both coasts and the Midwest. Weber received his BS in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Shawn Keenan

Mr. Keenan joined Raymond James in 2007 and is active in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. Keenan worked for JPMorgan Private Bank and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. Mr. Keenan holds an M.B.A. degree from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. degree in business administration from the University of Florida.

Brian Nestor

Mr. Nestor has worked with the Raymond James Financial Institutions Group for over three years. Mr. Nestor enjoys over 10 years of experience working with public and private companies. Mr. Nestor is active in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements, as well as initial public offerings of closed-end investment companies. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. Nestor worked as a corporate bankruptcy and commercial litigation attorney. Mr. Nestor received his M.B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in 2005 from the University of Notre Dame and received his J.D. degree from the Notre Dame Law School. Mr. Nestor holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University.

Matthew Paramore

Mr. Paramore joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett. Prior to joining Howe Barnes in 2005, he was an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Triangle Capital Partners. Mr. Paramore has provided investment banking services to community financial institutions for the past eight years. He graduated cum laude from Davidson College with an A.B. in economics and classics. Mr. Paramore holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Eric Radzak

Mr. Radzak joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, a firm he joined in 2004. Mr. Radzak has provided investment banking, capital markets, and general financial advisory services to financial institutions for over 10 years with such firms as Piper Jaffray & Co and Banc One Capital Markets. Mr. Radzak graduated from Cornell College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business.

Andrew Ross

Mr. Ross joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, which he joined in July 2006. He previously worked as an analyst in the strategy and planning group at PepsiCo. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch, where he worked on various mergers & acquisitions and capital market advisory assignments. Mr. Ross earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Charles Stubbs

Mr. Stubbs joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett. Stubbs has over 10 years of investment banking experience for financial institutions. Prior to joining Howe Barnes in 2005, Stubbs was an investment banker at Trident Securities, a Division of McDonald Investments, Inc., from 2000 to 2005. Prior to Trident, he was in the Enterprise Corporate Finance Executive Training Program at First Union in Charlotte, NC. He received a BS in accounting from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Christian Zych

Mr. Zych joined Raymond James in 2011 as part of the merger with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett. Prior to joining Howe Barnes in 2007, Zych was the Senior Vice President and Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at United Community Banks, Inc. from 2002 to 2007. Previous experience also includes working in both the Corporate and Investment Banking and the Corporate Strategy – Mergers & Acquisitions divisions of SunTrust Banks, Inc. Zych received a BS in finance from Bentley University and an MBA from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.
