Background:

ASA is a diversified healthcare services company that provides alternate-site healthcare services in partnership with physicians. ASA, through its primary subsidiaries Radiation Oncology Services of America, Inc. and Renal Services of America, Inc., owns, operates and manages facilities providing radiation oncology services and dialysis services.

Raymond James’ Role:

Ambulatory Services of America is a privately held, healthcare services company that owns interests in and operates 38 dialysis programs and 11 radiation oncology centers in eight states and the territory of Guam, in addition to managing three dialysis centers.

Raymond James served as exclusive financial advisor to ASA in securing a $75 million equity investment from Lindsay Goldberg, advising the company on the structuring of the investment and assisting in the negotiation of financing terms and the definitive agreement.

ASA plans to use the proceeds of the preferred equity investment to fund identified acquisitions and accelerate its growth strategy.
