Todd Osborn is a Paul Harris Fellow and member of the Emporia Rotary Club, the Philosophy Book Club and a supporter of the Emporia Arts Council. He also supports Emporia State University athletics, in particular their women’s basketball and softball programs.
Todd particularly likes to spend time in the Flint Hills and often does so by riding his mountain bike. For those interested in biking, he recommends you check out these organized rides: Tour de Florence and the Flint Hills Death Ride.
For those "vertically challenged," Todd suggests the Flint Hills Nature Trail. The trail is mostly flat and parallels the Santa Fe Trail route. It is a scenic trail through the Flint Hills and it can be enjoyed by hikers and equestrians as well.
Every year Todd tries to squeeze in a backpacking trip to the mountains, usually in the western part of the United States. He carries along a few extra pounds of camera gear on these trips and our office walls are adorned with some relics from these trips as well as the Flint Hills.
CHARITABLE GIVING
Supporting community projects, programs for our youth, those less fortunate and our elderly are characteristic of charitable giving. People usually give to charities or leave bequests because they believe their gift will help others or better the quality of life in their communities.
We have helped set up the Loretto A. Langley Charitable Trust, the Gertrude B. Behymer Trust and the Emil Babinger Charitable Trust. We have helped others with their charitable giving and we have assisted many nonprofit organizations with their asset management and donor gifts.
