The professionals at Fitzpatrick Financial Services have one simple goal: we want to help people by treating them the way we want to be treated. Our clients offer their trust and confidence to us, and in return, we work closely with them to develop financial strategies that are transparent in cost and suitable for their life goals. We are honored to coordinate financial affairs for families and businesses, to steward their assets and investments, and to assist in the transfer of their wealth to future generations with tax minimization strategies.
What makes us unique? We help local community banks and credit unions, too. The team at Fitzpatrick Financial Services specialize in forming professional alliances with these institutions. It is our privilege to work with them, and to be able to provide our expertise of investments and financial advice to their customers.
We’re not in this business to sell a product or promote a self-serving corporate business model. We’re in this business to bring quality, personal, financial service to people that want to reach their goals – people like you.
Brian K. Fitzpatrick, B.S., AAMS
Brian Fitzpatrick is the President of Fitzpatrick Financial Services in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He hallmarks more than 34 years of experience, including personal financial services, agriculture and commercial bank lending, and city and federal government finance.

Eight years later his office was in the top 15 percent of Edward Jones offices nationwide for gross production and he was a Limited Partner. In order to expand the level of financial service offerings for his clients and more fully utilize his expertise, he chose to become an independent financial advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, a nationally recognized firm and the pioneer of financial planning.
Brian holds the Series 9/10 (General Securities Sales Supervisor), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State) securities licenses, as well as the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist through the College of Financial Planning. Originally from Lynnville, Iowa, Brian resides in Oskaloosa, IA, with his wife, Sherry, and two of their four children.
Sherry Fitzpatrick, B.S.
Sherry Fitzpatrick is the Office Manager at Fitzpatrick Financial Services and is also Vice President of the business. She has worked in the office with Brian since 2007. Sherry provides invaluable support by inputting client data into our software tools, processing paperwork necessary to meet client needs, and keeping the office extremely well managed, given the considerable amount of organization necessary for a financial services firm.
Prior to becoming involved with the business, Sherry served full time in the public schools teaching Secondary Family and Consumer Science and Health. After having four children and being a full time homemaker, she returned to the school system as a pre-kindergarten through 12th grade substitute teacher. She also has prior work experience in banking, office management, and financial investment office operations. Sherry graduated from Iowa State University.
Sherry will make you feel welcome to do business with Fitzpatrick Financial Services.
About Raymond James
In 1962, Bob James set out to build a different kind of financial services firm – one that put people, planning and principles first. And now, more than 50 years later, Bob's different kind of firm is one of the leading independent financial services companies in the United States.
Raymond James has grown to become a well-respected, widely recognized multinational firm with distinct business units that serve a variety of clients, from individuals and small business owners to municipalities and major corporations.
October 19, 1987: Black Monday. While other firms closed their trading desks to minimize internal losses, Raymond James kept its desks open to meet clients’ needs. Because of Raymond James’ agency-based business model and commitment to client service, this was our first, last and only unprofitable quarter since the firm went public.
We can be sure the markets will change over the next 25 years, and that our industry and firm will continue to evolve. What won’t change is our commitment to the values that have driven our success.
