Marc Pearl was hired by First Northern Bank in 2002 as a senior financial executive and quickly promoted to vice president.  He also manages the Bank’s Investment & Brokerage Services Department which offers securities and investment advisory services through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Marc has 18 years’ experience in the financial services and investment fields. He holds Series 7, 24 and 66 Securities Licenses.Marc also holds life & disability insurance licenses. 

In his current position, Marc manages First Northern Bank’s Investment & Brokerage Services Department and supervises the Bank’s Raymond James Financial advisors. He also provides portfolio analysis, financial planning and asset management for the Bank’s investment and brokerage clients. While Marc’s office is in Folsom, he is available by appointment to meet clients at any of the Bank’s 11 branch locations.

A native of Sacramento, Marc attended California State University, Sacramento and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from National University, Sacramento. He is active in the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club and serves as vice president of the El Dorado Youth Soccer Association. He resides in El Dorado Hills with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters.

David R. (“Dave”) Davis joined First Northern Bank in September 2007 as a vice president and a Raymond James Financial Advisor. He brings nearly 30 years of investment advisory experience to First Northern Bank. For the past 17 years, Dave managed the investment department of Placer Sierra Bank, where he provided financial investment and advisory services to his clients.

As a Raymond James Financial Advisor, Dave works with clients throughout the Auburn, Roseville and Sacramento areas to help them meet their financial goals through a variety of non-FDIC-insured investment and brokerage services.  

Dave, who has lived in Roseville for 17 years, holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from John F. Kennedy University. He and his wife, Susan, have three children.

Lawrence M. (“Larry”) Gapinski joined the Investment & Brokerage Services Department of First Northern Bank in July 2007 as a Raymond James financial advisor. He brings 26 years’ experience to First Northern, most recently as a financial advisor for BancWest Investment Services, where he served for nine years.  

As a Raymond James financial advisor, Larry works with clients throughout the Fairfield, West Sacramento and Sacramento areas to help them meet their financial goals through a variety of non-FDIC-insured investment and brokerage services.  

Larry, who has lived in Sacramento for 27 years, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from California State University, Sacramento and a Master of Science in the Psychology of Counseling, also from Sacramento State. In 2007, Larry received his Life Coaching Certification from the Academy of Coaching Excellence. He is married to Maria Ostendorf and has three children. He is a member of the Pacific Crest Trail Association and enjoys volunteering weekly at Quinn Cottages, a two-year residential program in mid-town Sacramento, helping homeless adults reenter the community as financially responsible people.

James D. (“Jim”) Belenis joined First Northern Bank in April 2008 as a Raymond James Financial advisor; he has 14 years’ experience as a financial advisor. Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ (CFP^®), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), and Equity Management Specialist (EMS). He most recently served as a financial advisor, limited partner and regional trainer for Edward Jones.

As a Raymond James financial advisor, Jim works with clients throughout the Dixon and Davis areas to help them meet their financial goals through a variety of non-FDIC-insured investment and brokerage services.

Jim, a Davis native, holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from National University in San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. Very active in the community, he is currently serving as an AYSO Select Soccer coach, Board Member of the Davis Sunrise Rotary Club, and as an auditor for the Emerson Junior High School PTA and AYSO Soccer. Jim and his wife, Alice, have three children.
