His financial services career began as an advisor trainee with Merrill Lynch, where he was mentored by some of the best investment minds in the industry. He later joined Fifth Third Securities, where he spent more than five years advising individuals and businesses on their investment and wealth management needs. In 2009, during an unprecedented period of uncertainty and change in the financial services industry, Ben made the move to Raymond James along with Matt, Dave and Lauren to form HDS Wealth Solutions with a vision of providing clients unmatched service and advice – free from the distractions of Wall Street and large corporate culture. Born and raised in northern Indiana, where much of his family remains today, Ben graduated from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana, in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He now lives in Anderson Township with his wife, Kelly, and their three children, Benjamin, Zachary and Elizabeth. In his free time, Ben enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his family, coaching T-ball, leading a Cub Scout den, fishing and playing golf.
