Professional and Personal Background
Having gone through a divorce personally, I appreciate the challenges and personal issues that face individuals going through this event in their lives. With more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, I understand how the right person can help make a difference with individuals as they transition through one phase of their life to another during the divorce process.
Using this combination of real world and industry experience, my goal is to help my clients meet their objectives while managing the emotions of the divorce process that people face while trying to make sound financial decisions. Mine is a comprehensive approach that endeavors to look at each person's unique situation before recommending a course of action.
As a graduate of Auburn University, I began my career as a financial management officer in the United States Marine Corps. As a personal financial advisor since 1994, I hold multiple industry licenses and designations specifically geared towards the divorce financial planning client.
I was attracted to Raymond James primarily because of the firm's people and their commitment to ensuring that my clients receive the best service and support.
As a native of Atlanta, I live in Roswell. My daughter, Amber, attends the University of Georgia where she is majoring in Biology on a HOPE scholarship. I attend Roswell United Methodist Church.

Raymond James is one of the largest independent financial services firms in the United States. Since its beginning in 1962, it has always been a different kind of company – embracing long-term planning and methodical decision-making while staying uncompromisingly client focused. When other firms were simply buying and selling stocks or mutual funds, Raymond James focused on financial planning to help individuals reach their goals. It was the first firm to pioneer that concept – and today it supports its advisors with access to a full range of comprehensive resources, helping them to do the same.
- More than 5,400 financial advisors
- 2 million client accounts
- 2,400 locations (United States, Canada and abroad)
- $268 billion in client assets
- $35 billion managed by its subsidiary asset managers
Raymond James Financial was recently named the best full-service broker in the 2011 SmartMoney annual broker survey for the third time in four years – ranking above Edward Jones, Wells Fargo, UBS, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
