Spending her college vacations working in Yellowstone National Park, Judy Singleton developed a deep love and appreciation for the parks and the outdoor spirit of Wyoming. Finally returning to Jackson Hole in 1985, Judy was determined to make Wyoming her permanent home!
Judy started the Raymond James office in Jackson Hole in 1994 located at the Jackson State Bank and Trust, the largest bank in the State of Wyoming. Establishing herself as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor, on July 1, 2008, Judy opened an independent firm and founded J Singleton Financial (JSF) just off the famous Jackson Hole Town Square. Currently serving as President and CEO, Judy has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and has built a team of professionals with diverse financial backgrounds and together, they are committed to providing their clients the highest level of professionalism and personal service.
Judy recognizes that every client is at a different stage in their life and her objective is to discover where they are today, and where they want to be in the future. Judy works closely with her team to prepare a variety of investment planning tools and insurance products to provide clients with an individual financial plan. Recognizing that a financial plan starts “today”, Judy works closely with her clients to ensure that the plan grows, changes and is modified as the client goes through different life-stages.
Keeping track of everyone’s lives, Judy is well-known to become part of a family’s extended financial plan, developing plans for children, spouses and grandchildren. Offering advice, direction and potential solutions to straight-forward and often complex situations, Judy relies on her team as well as outside professional resources to ensure each client has the information they need to make well-informed decisions based on their current and future needs, wants and goals.

As independent Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, Judy and her team are able to offer investment products and services to meet every financial situation. By thinking outside the box and researching a wide array of investment products, Judy is able to build a portfolio of investment products designed to meet each client’s individual financial goals. Judy’s professional licenses include: General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), Combined State Registered Investment Advisor (Series 66), Municipal Fund Securities Limited Principal (Series 51) and she is a licensed Life, Accident, & Variable Annuity agent.
Judy believes she and her team have an obligation to invest back into the community they serve and she works closely with many local non-profit organizations, personally and with the JSF Team. Judy is a former board member with the Community Safety Network and has worked with Old Bill’s Fun Run for Charities since its inception 17 years ago. Raising over $100 million for over 200 charities, Judy has volunteered, organized and participated each year as part of the Old Bill’s Co-Challenger festivities. Judy is always quick to offer her time and resources to further the important work of several local charities. When she isn’t in her office, Judy is an avid skier during the winter months and has amassed 30 years of Jackson Hole ski passes! During the summer months, Judy enjoys golfing and hiking the beautiful trails of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, where she feels most at home!
Brian began his career in Trust and Estate planning in 1982 as Vice President and Trust Investment Manager at First Interstate Bank in Casper, Wyoming. Then, a family-owned regional bank, Brian focused on establishing and administering personal trust accounts as well as overseeing the department's mineral and real property assets and common trust fund investment pools.
As the oil and gas industry began to experience a down-cycle, Brian joined Hilltop National Bank in 1991 as Vice-President and Senior Trust Officer. Working in a more complex and diverse Trust and Wealth Management Department, Brian was able to expand his expertise by providing trust administration, fiduciary oversight, asset protection, estate settlements and conservatorships. Owned by the True family, Brian was instrumental in the department managing and maintaining significant Wyoming oil and gas interests, leases and large producing ranch land holdings.
In 2003 Brian was presented with the opportunity to develop and manage the Trust and Wealth Management Department at the Bank of Jackson Hole. An avid outdoorsman, Brian was eager to take on the challenge and he didn’t mind moving to Jackson Hole to do it! The Trust department was in its infancy in 2003 and Brian is credited with the success of the department’s growth in assets and revenue during his 11 years as Senior Vice President and Trust Department Manager.
In 2014, fate stepped in! After his wife, Natalie, joined J Singleton Financial in 2013, Brian and Judy began exploring how their different areas of wealth management could complement each other utilizing all of the Raymond James investment services, including the Raymond James Trust Department. Brian has always thrived and respected working for locally owned financial institutions and understanding the platform of a locally owned, locally managed and independent firm, J Singleton Financial, with access to the immense resources of Raymond James Financial Services, Brian seized the opportunity to join Judy’s team.
With over 32 years of experience in the financial industries, Brian’s strength continues to be his honesty, integrity and commitment to always acting in the best interests of his clients - most of whom have been with him since 1982 when he began his career. Brian is a Wyoming native, born in Casper, Wyoming. In 1974 he graduated from Shattuck Preparatory School in Faribault, Minnesota. Attending Colorado State University, he received a BS in Business in 1978 and a Master’s of Finance in 1982. Brian is a 1992 graduate of the ABA National Graduate Trust School in Chicago.
Brian has 3 nearly grown children and 4 grandchildren. Kerri is a Communications Coordinator for Colorado State University, Ben is a Petroleum Engineer for the State of Montana and Colin is in his sophomore year at Rocky Mountain College. In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, skiing, fishing and playing golf.
B. Hadyn Peery
Associate Financial Advisor
B. “Hadyn” Peery joined J Singleton Financial in 2014 as an Associate Financial Advisor. In this role, Hadyn spends much of his day researching the financial markets and advising clients on asset allocation, diversification, risk analysis, and portfolio re-balancing. Hadyn’s approach is based on a thorough understanding of each client’s unique goals and objectives. Hadyn is currently enrolled in a 2-year Raymond James Advisor Mastery Program working toward his IIMC and CFP® accreditations.
Prior to joining J Singleton Financial, Hadyn lived in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as a Listed Derivative Analyst with Morgan Stanley supporting the firm’s Chicago and New York traders. Most recently, Hadyn worked for Brown Advisory as a Relationship Coordinator in the Private Client Division.
Hadyn earned a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from North Carolina State University.
An avid skier and outdoorsman, Hadyn’s love of skiing and the Jackson Hole lifestyle is what initially drew him to Jackson Hole after graduating from N.C. State in 2005. Hadyn loves to spend his free time with his wife, Samantha, and their yellow lab, Maui.

A native from Southern California, Marina relocated to Jackson Hole in 1990 and has acquired 24 years of extensive experience in a variety of professional arenas throughout the local community encompassing estate planning as an executive associate for the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, banking positions in loan accounting & real estate lending with Jackson State Bank and Trust, and the financial services industry with J Singleton Financial, RJFS.
Marina joined the Raymond James team in 2005 and her licenses include the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and the State Registered Agent (Series 63).
Marina shares an established history throughout her years of service with networking professionals and the community. Adapting the “team culture theme”, Marina is dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience and is committed to helping people pursue their financial goals with honesty, intelligence and integrity.
Marina supports a variety of home-based events and organizations with an emphasis on locally grown goods, products and services in an effort to cultivate a healthy economy.
Hiking, biking, delighting in nature and performing local music entertainment are a few of her favorite pastimes.

Karen moved to Jackson Hole in 2001, a few years after receiving her Bachelor of Science in communications from Ohio University. Having always loved the mountains, living in the Grand Tetons is a dream come true!
Karen joined Raymond James in July 2007 and is a registered sales assistant holding the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and the State Registered Agent (Series 63) licenses.
Outside of work, Karen loves spending time with her husband, Brandon, and their two playful Labradors: Toby and Buddy. They enjoy various outdoor activities such as hiking, fly-fishing, running and camping in the summer and downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter.

With more than eight years of experience in the financial services industry, Melanie assists clients with a broad range of investment and insurance planning strategies. As a Registered Client Associate at J Singleton Financial, she focuses on listening to each client, believing everyone's needs and financial goals are unique.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Melanie worked at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for eight years, serving as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor; Melanie is Series 7 and 66 licensed and specializes in insurance planning.
Melanie graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources. She and her husband, Tom, have one son, Michael, and when she is not working with clients, Melanie enjoys running, hiking, camping, skiing and spending time with her family.
Natalie began her career in the financial services industry with the investment firm Piper Jaffray. Loving the pace of the industry and building client relationships, positions with First Union and Wachovia Securities followed until her family relocated to Jackson Hole in 2003.
Once settled in Jackson, Natalie worked as Director of Operations for Sotheby’s International Realty as well as Christie’s Great Estates and in 2010 joined a private law firm providing private family trust administration. When the opportunity to join J Singleton Financial became available in 2013, she was honored to return to the industry with such a dynamic and successful investment team as the office’s Operations Coordinator.
Natalie is a community volunteer and a Board Member of the Jackson Hole Rotary Club. She enjoys running, skiing, swimming and multi-day backpacking trips with her son, Colin-David, a Sophomore at Rocky Mountain College and her husband, Brian.
