In the community
We believe our community deserves to share in our success – and that giving back means giving of ourselves. It’s a natural extension of the cooperation and service you’ll find in our unique workplace culture. The charities we currently support include the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, The Civic, Toys for Tots and the YWCA.

The Civic
Since 1929, The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre has been at the forefront of community theatres in America. It has been praised by the public and its peers as one of the outstanding examples of just what can be done with a "Civic" or community theatre.
The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is a special place – both a museum and community art school. Since 1924, their mission has been to cultivate both the creation and appreciation of the visual arts. It offers studio classrooms, a library, auditorium, exhibit areas, a sculpture garden and office space.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
Founded in 1947, Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that donates toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy gifts for Christmas. The program and foundation have collected and distributed almost 500 million toys. Our office is a collection site every holiday season. We gladly accept donations. Look for the box in our office.
Raymond James Financial sets aside a percentage of profits for charitable purposes. A major portion of this reserve is used to match employees gifts to the United Way in communities across the country during the firm's annual workplace giving campaign. This practice has made the firm a top corporate sponsor of the United Way of Tampa Bay and has helped impact social services organizations throughout the United States, as well as educational, performing and fine arts, and other service organizations.
The YWCA is the largest women's organization in the world, a movement of women working for social and economic change around the world. It advocates for young women's leadership, peace, justice, human rights and sustainable development, on a grassroots and global scale.
