Before partnering with Laura Waller to form Waller & Wax Advisors, Jon operated his own financial planning practice at Raymond James & Associates, Inc.
In addition to more than a decade of experience in financial planning, Jon holds various licenses in insurance and securities. He is well known to local radio audiences through his stock market commentary on WQYK-AM 1010. He is actively involved in the local business and professional community through membership in the Greater Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce and the Stavros Center for Free Enterprise and Economic Education, as well as professional financial planning associations. He also volunteers with local community service organizations that have included the Town & Country Volunteer Fire Rescue, the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, the University of Tampa Board of Counselors and the Florida Holocaust Museum.
Jon is a graduate of Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business in New Orleans.
