MCM Notes

Dan Long, Investment Consultant, is continuing his educational pursuits in the Raymond James Advisory Mastery Program (AMP) and will sit for the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) certification exam early in the new year. His studies have given Dan a deeper understanding of asset management topics such as tax planning, asset allocation, financial education for clients, and much more. Dan has enjoyed time with friends and family over the holidays and is excited for continued professional growth in 2018.

Kerry Mellott, Investment Consultant, was truly empowered by her participation the Raymond James Women's Symposium in Orlando earlier in 2017. The time spent networking and sharing experiences with other highly successful women advisors proved a great motivator and is reflected in the enthusiasm Kerry brings to work at MCM each day. Kerry spent part of her youth in Minneapolis, and has retained her love of winter, snow and Minnesota Vikings football. She foresees a Vikings run all the way to a hometown Super Bowl berth!

Congratulations to Bob Burke on his completion of the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA) designation through the College for Financial Planning. Bob serves as portfolio manager at MCM and this rigorous training in portfolio construction, asset allocation strategies and arriving at buy, hold and sell decisions was ideally suited to his daily activities at MCM. Nice going!

Hilary Fagnani continues to be busy with work and family. She had the opportunity to travel to Texas in October to spend time with a dear friend and client. Hilary and husband, Mark, took some time off in late December and were thrilled to host many visiting family members! She is most proud of daughters, Alex, who is a successful hair stylist moving to a new Mendham location, and Kara, who is a teacher in northern Virginia.

A recent highlight for Bill Burke and wife, Laurie was a five day, late October trip to London to spend time with exchange student son, Joan Pages. Joan escaped the rigors of work at Mettler Toledo in Zurich for a few days in jolly old England. The trip made for great family time and reinforced our feelings toward London as a favorite destination. Most exciting of all is that Joan has been given a 3-month assignment for Mettler in Columbus, Ohio from March-June 2018!
