Larry Menna is branch manager of the Bakersfield, California, Raymond James Financial Services (member FINRA/SIPC) office, and president/owner of Menna Capital Management, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm. Larry envisioned building Menna Capital shortly after he joined Raymond James in 1995. Back then, Raymond James Financial Services was called Robert Thomas Securities and operated on a commission-based platform. Over time, Larry became a partner of the local RJFS office, and decided to gradually move away from commission-based financial products to start Menna Capital Management, LLC, a fee-based financial planning firm.
"You can’t imagine the satisfaction I get from helping clients. By working on a fee basis*, I believe we have the ability to remove conflicts of interest regarding our clients’ needs.”
Larry graduated from California State University, Bakersfield, in 1997, with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. “Those days were very long; I studied and worked about 16 hours a day.” He is a registered investment advisor representative, registered principal, and licensed insurance agent. As a financial planner, he specializes in portfolio management and comprehensive financial planning for business owners and individual retirees/preretirees.
*Clients should periodically re-evaluate whether the use of an asset-based fee continues to be appropriate in servicing their needs. A list of additional considerations, as well as the fee schedule, is available in the firm's Form ADV Part II as well as the client agreement.
