I feel so strongly about educating others and empowering them to make smart financial decisions that I frequently make myself available for public speaking engagements with corporations, local trade groups, and other organizations. I am a member of the Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, where we work to support our profession in its mission to help improve the financial education in our communities.

I've had the privilege of serving as an elder and community group leader at West End Community Church in Nashville, TN, a board member and group co-facilitator with Christian Leadership Concepts, Inc. (CLC), a volunteer team leader and Nashville committee member with Young Life, and assisting African Leadership with fund-raising efforts in recent years. I feel very strongly that we each have an important role and part to play in promoting the personal development and growth of others in our local communities and around the world. Over the years as I've devoted significant time and resources to the missions of these organizations, I've ironically discovered that I've been given infinitely more in return.
