Mark has been servicing investors for over 27 years, the past 22 years at Raymond James. He helps clients reach their financial goals through broad-based financial planning, tax and estate planning, and risk and wealth management. His Group also specializes in 401k plan design and management.
Mark graduated from Ferris State University in 1980 and did graduate finance work at Western Michigan University. He is a member of Raymond James’ Chairman’s Council and Retirement Planning Advisory Council. In his spare time Mark enjoys woodworking, fishing, and music performance. He is active in the Grand Rapids Lions Club, Forest Hills Central music and lacrosse groups, and Ada Congregational Church.
Mark lives in Cascade with his wife Kathy and son Steve, who is now an intern with the Oberlin Group! Their daughter Amy attends the University of Michigan majoring in Chemical Engineering. Tammy has been in the investment business for over thirteen years, eight of those with Raymond James. Tammy is fully licensed with her Series 7 and 66. She is also a Registered Paraplanner and can assist you with portfolio management, retirement plans, mutual funds, stocks and research. Tammy earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Grand Valley State University in 1998.
She lives in Amble with her husband Marty and their children, Serena and William. Her oldest daughter, Victoria, is a senior at Ferris State University where she is studying finance. Victoria is also working with the Oberlin Team as an intern.
Tammy lives on a small hobby farm and in her spare time she enjoys fishing, horses and the outdoors. She is also active with the Chase Township Library and 4-H.
Originally from Ann Arbor Michigan, Alicia joined Raymond James in 2003 after graduating from Cornerstone University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She completed her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses in 2004, enabling her to assist clients with any trading needs. In 2008 she received her Registered Paraplanner designation after studying risk management, investments, income tax and retirement issues among other aspects of financial planning. She currently works with individuals, to identify their financial goals and implement an appropriate investment portfolio tailored to fit each client’s needs.
Alicia lives in Cascade with her husband Mike and their dog, Wilco. She enjoys traveling and reading books in her spare time. Alicia is also active with Ada Bible Church and the Thornapple Valley Lions Club.
Steve joined the team in 2008 as an intern. He is a senior at Forest Hills Central High School where he is focusing on business curriculum. Steve is anticipating attending business school at Arizona State University in the Fall of 2010.
He is currently a drum major in the FHC marching band, and he plays hockey and lacrosse.
Victoria Jenkins Intern
Victoria joined the team in 2009 and is currently a senior at Ferris State University. She will be graduating in December of 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a concentration in Investments.
She lives in Chase on a small hobby farm and in her spare time she enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with her dog Bailey. After graduation she is anticipating moving to the Traverse City area.
