Ed has extensive experience as a financial advisor, starting his career in 1990 with First Investors Corporation. In 1993, he joined the Oppenheimer Management Corporation as a regional sales representative, where he was responsible for the development of territories with an outside wholesaler. Over the next three years, he played a critical role in growing Oppenheimer’s assets in the southwest region from $25 million to $140 million.
In 1996, Ed expanded his field experience as a financial advisor with Financial Network Investment Corporation. There, he helped individuals and small businesses with their stocks, bonds, mutual funds and insurance for three years. Ed joined Raymond James Financial Services as a branch manager and financial advisor in 1999.
Ed attended the University of Toledo and holds Series licenses 7, 51, 63 and the Series 24 Registered Principal license, along with a Texas life and health insurance license. He also holds the long-term care professional (LTCP) designation. At Munn & Morris Financial Advisors, Ed focuses on 401(k) plans for small to mid-size companies, as well as long-term care and life insurance for the firm’s clients. Ed is a member of the Financial Services Institute and American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance.
Originally from Ohio, Ed moved to Dallas 19 years ago with his wife, Liz, and twin sons, Steven, who graduated from Colorado State University, and Ben, who graduated from Denver University. Ed's interests include cars, riding Harleys, sailing, playing tennis and working out.
