Nat Cheney doesn’t just say that he cares. He believes in proving care to his clients through action. “Nothing gives me more joy than knowing that a client is realizing his or her financial goals and dreams,” he explains. “That’s what my job is all about – helping people reach their aspirations.”
To do that, Nat relies on comprehensive investment planning and asset management. In addition, he draws upon nearly two decades of financial experience to help his clients build wealth and enhance their lifestyles. With a focus on retirement planning and money management, Nat works with a wide range of clients, from individuals and families to large corporations and institutions. Because he works with such a variety of clients, Nat knows that each unique situation requires a personalized investment plan.
“I take the time to truly understand a client’s financial needs, desires and circumstances,” he explains. “By doing so, I can add value to my services by creating a customized plan designed for that individual or company. This is not a business of one size fits all.” Nat earned a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. After many years in international commercial banking, he joined Raymond James in 1986.
When not working with his clients, Nat enjoys sailing, playing tennis and choral singing. He also teaches investment management strategies to students at the Montclair Adult Education School. An active member of his church, he has been elected to the board several times. He and his wife currently reside in northern New Jersey.
