Our Internal designation is 54K, and is used throughout this site to distinguish us within RJFS. Our group was established in 1981 by Bruce Harris. The initial group numbered five. Today we have grown to 35, with client assets under management (AUM) exceeding $900 million. Behind these statistics are many successful financial advisors with a wide array of practices and businesses. Two are attorneys; six are CPAs. Two are discretionary asset managers. Many associates are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals. Our practices primarily focus on fee-based, financial advisory. Additionally, associates have developed niche expertise in taxable and municipal bonds, financial planning, insurance and stock selection. Although we are hardly a homogenous group, associates are in frequent contact and support. Associates have come from various firms: Morgan Stanley, Janney Montgomery, First Albany, Wachovia (from Prudential and Wheat First), Paine Webber, Smith Barney, AG Edwards, Tucker Anthony, Dain, Rauscher, Nathan & Lewis, Piper Jaffray, Merrill Lynch, and Lehman Brothers. |
