Dave obtained his bachelors degree from the University of Georgia in 1972 and his master's degree in business from the University of Wyoming in 1976. Dave is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ^™ professional.

A retired lieutenant colonel, he served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 22 years. One of the positions he held during this time was internal auditor, where he reviewed multi-million dollar weapon system acquisition programs.

His final duty station was the Pentagon, where he served as a member of U.S. delegations to NATO in Brussels, Belgium, and Vienna, Austria. During this same period, he also led U.S. arms control inspection teams to former Soviet conventional and nuclear facilities under several treaties and international agreements. He is a graduate of Squadron Officers School, Air Command and Staff College, Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the Air University.

Dave has been married to Toni Todd Pesterfield for more than 30 years. After retiring from the Air Force, Dave and Toni settled in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where they are active in the community.

Dave has been with Raymond James since 1999.

Rose is our registered assistant and has been in the industry since 2000. Rose handles all office administrative needs, including most client correspondence. Rose also handles our event planning and manages the office schedules.

Martha is our marketing associate; she handles all in-house marketing.
