Lynn Phillips appears on Forbes Intelligent Investing panel
Forbes Intelligent Investing gathers the best and brightest investment advisors, money managers and business leaders to discuss the principles and techniques of long-term portfolio management, free from the chatter and noise of daily market movements, rumor, and innuendo that plagues so much of the financial press.

FIRST MEETING - what to expect

Thank you for considering us for your financial and investment planning needs. Please bring the following to your first appointment:

  1. Last month's pay stubs,
  2. Copies of wills,
  3. Copies of most recent income tax returns,
  4. Copies of all life and disability insurance policies and current statements,
  5. Copies of statements on all financial accounts (savings, investments, retirement),
  6. Listing of all debt (mortgages, auto loans, credit cards, open notes), and
  7. Benefits information from your employer.

Don’t worry if you cannot get everything on the list. Most important is to bring a copy of your most recent tax return as well as statements on each of your investments or insurance.
