RAYMOND JAMES FINANCIAL ADVISOR, VAN PEARCY, NAMED
TO RESEARCH MAGAZINE’S 2007 ADVISOR HALL OF FAME

San Francisco – Research magazine has announced its 2007 Advisor Hall of Fame and Van Pearcy, 46, of Van Pearcy Financial/Raymond James Financial Services is one of this year’s five inductees.

To qualify for the award, candidates must pass a rigorous screening, have served a minimum of 15 years in the industry, have acquired substantial assets under management, demonstrated superior client service and earned recognition from their peers and the broader community for the honor they reflect on their profession.

“It is a great pleasure and honor to be included in the distinguished list of recipients of Research magazine’s 2007 Advisor Hall of Fame,” Pearcy said. “I would like to take this opportunity to thankmy wealth services team, my firm, Raymond James, and the various clientswho must have been responsible for my nomination. My career of helping clients with various aspects of their financial planning has been extremely satisfying, and a blessing.”

In announcing this year’s Hall of Fame, Research publisher Robert Tyndall noted the value of building lasting relationships when he wrote, “It would stand to reason that the financial advisors chosen by our distinguished panel of judges for our annual Advisor Hall of Fame owe their stand-out success to exemplary client relationships.”

Since joining Raymond James in 2001, Pearcy’s asset base has more than tripled -- a statistic he attributes to the integration of his in-house team, coupled with the specialists in insurance, tax and estate planning available to him as an affiliated advisor with the firm.

The native West Texan has stayed true to his roots, building relationships and serving the same community in which he was raised.

“When your clients say you’ve made a world of difference in their lives – to hear something like that . . . gets you up in the morning,” Pearcy said.

Very active in the Midland, Texas community, Pearcy helped raise $2.2 million towards the completion of a first-class track and field facility for Midland’s youth. In addition, the Van and Donna Pearcy Foundation annually awards college scholarships to athletic trainers and managers from their alma mater, Andrews High School.

“Van is an exemplary RJFS advisor,” said Dick Averitt, Chairman and CEO of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. “His commitment to his clients and his community is clearly outstanding and he richly deserves this Hall of Fame recognition. The fact that this is one of numerous honors Van has received makes the achievement all the more significant. We at Raymond James are very proud to be associated with an advisor of his caliber.”
