RAYMOND JAMES LISTED AS A TOP WORKPLACE
FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS
IN IDG’S COMPUTERWORLD PUBLICATION

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE-RJF) was recently selected for the third year in a row as one of the top workplaces for information technology (IT) professionals in IDG’s Computerworld, the “Voice of IT Management.” This honor is part of the weekly publication’s 15th annual Best Places to Work in IT survey, published in a recent issue of Computerworld and online at Computerworld.com.

“To be chosen three years in a row as one of the top places to work in IT is a great honor,” said Tim Eitel, chief information officer for Raymond James. “This distinction is a direct result of our associates’ passion and dedication.”

Since 1994, Computerworld’s annual “Best Places to Work in IT” feature has ranked the top 100 work environments for technology professionals, based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention. Several hundred associate responses were collected from all organizations nominated for this year’s listing.

“Being among the Best Places to Work in IT means crafting a blend of employee advantages that includes the potential for flexible hours, competitive pay, excellent benefits, a supportive leadership environment, opportunities for ongoing training and advancement, and ultimately, the feeling that you'd like to stay with the company a long, long time,” said Scot Finnie, editor in chief of Computerworld.
