Peter Bailey President and Chief Executive Officer Raymond James Ltd.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Raymond James Ltd., Peter Bailey leads the business building efforts and strategic leadership of the firm’s business units – Equity Capital Markets, Private Client Group and Corporate Services.

He is widely respected throughout the industry for his extensive expertise earned from more than three decades in senior roles at investment dealers and self-regulatory organizations.

Before assuming his current position in February 2006, Peter was President of Raymond James Ltd. and was responsible for all Private Client and Corporate Services activities.

Peter joined Raymond James in August 2001 and led the successful development of the firm’s Independent Agent network. Before that, he was the head of the Trade Association of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada and he was also Chief Operating Officer of Gordon Capital Corporation.
