With more than sixteen years of experience in the financial services industry, Michael L. Paquette advises clients on a broad range of financial and retirement planning strategies. Blending integrity, hard work, and a willingness to listen, Michael develops, implements, and monitors these strategies. Because each client’s situation is unique, it is important to review the details so every aspect of the plan dovetails into each other. Michael uses a hands-on approach when working with clients, meeting with each of them on a regular basis to ensure that their investments remain suitable for their objectives over the long-term and through changing personal and market conditions.

Before forming Paquette & Shaw Financial Group LLC, Michael worked for CCO Investment Services for three and a half years, where he served as a Senior Regional Sales Manager. He also held positions with Bancnorth Investment Group. Additionally, Michael currently holds his CFP® designation, CRC®, a Series 7 General Securities license and a Series 63 State Securities license, a series 24 Principal License, a series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor License and NH Life Accident and Health Insurance License.

Michael attended the University of Rhode Island after graduating from Manchester Memorial High School in 1987 here in Manchester, NH. He additionally completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation in 2002. A firm believer in continuing education, Michael enhances his experience by attending annual conferences, adding additional licensing, and completing courses at Raymond James University.

Michael Paquette was born in Laconia, NH, moved to Manchester, NH at the age of 6, and currently resides in Hooksett, New Hampshire. He enjoys spending time with his wife of twenty years and two sons. When he is not working with clients or spending time with his family, Michael enjoys restoring furniture, reading, and going to the gym.

Michael is joined by partner Nathaniel Shaw who has more than eleven years of experience. Nathaniel, also a CFP® professional and co founder of Paquette & Shaw Financial Group LLC, believes in a hands-on approach and a customized solution for each client.

Nathaniel graduated from New England College in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in business with a minor in marketing. He additionally completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2009. A firm believer in continuing education, Nathaniel enhances his experience by attending annual conferences, adding additional licensing, and completing courses at Raymond James University.

Nathaniel Shaw is originally from Henniker, New Hampshire, and currently resides in Weare, New Hampshire. He enjoys spending time with his wife, and children. When he is not working with clients Nathaniel or his family, he enjoys golf, fly fishing, and camping.
