The Raymond James Transportation Group brings to the firm's surface transportation clients a wealth of experience in crafting unique funding solutions for transportation and economic development projects. The group's project financings have frequently involved creating public-private partnerships (“PPP”) to generate the prerequisite capital needed for a transit facility that would otherwise, quite simply, not be feasible because of the demands placed on traditional governmental funding sources. Our transportation group has demonstrated its capabilities to formulate unique capital funding plans outside of the traditional transportation finance “envelope” of funding programs. Raymond James' Transportation Group has extensive experience utilizing taxable and tax-exempt instruments for such facilities.
