Well-versed in the technical aspects of financial planning and analysis, Craig Reed’s expertise in utilizing technology to analyze financial issues only enhances his ability to solve problems and help clients obtain their financial objectives. He also enjoys educating clients in asset allocation and other financial planning issues by simplifying what can often be an overwhelming and complex process.
Craig joined Raymond James & Associates in 2000, drawn to the firm’s commitment to independence and focus on clients as individuals – a philosophy he shares. Prior to Raymond James, he worked in the cooperative education program at Rolls Royce Allison in Indianapolis.
Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and remains strongly committed to ongoing education. His professional designations include Certified Financial PlannerTM, wealth management specialist, retirement plan consultant, trust specialist and investment management consultant.
A member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the First Baptist Church of Greenwood, Craig serves in various positions on a rotating basis, including chairman of the worship ministry, and is co-chair of the Legacy Endowment Fund Committee. Originally from Greenwood, he and his wife, Olivia, currently reside there with their three children Isabella, Ian and Noah. An avid golfer, Craig also enjoys skiing and playing on the church softball team in summer and fall.
